Of course, that hasn't stopped me from using my tow strap(south) equally a "tree saver"....or a "rock saver".....or a "bumper saver".....

I've never had an issue. Equally long every bit you are using a proficient strap it should be ok. Just put a few extra wraps effectually the tree to disperse pressure better.

My "tree strap" is not very fancy. It is just a ii"x10' version of the longer tow strap with the same materials and construction.
I've really used it as a tow strap (4) more than times than as a tree strap (0).
I was in the market for a wider tree strap if anyone knows a skilful one?
